About this accommodation

Surrounded by rural countryside, Longnor Wood is one of the best Peak District campsites whether you are visiting the stately homes of Haddon Hall or Chatsworth estate, exploring the Buxton caverns, walking or cycling one of the many trails such as the Tissington Trail or the Monsal Trail.

We offer 2 camping options for tents at our dog-friendly Peak District campsite, with 4 all-weather pitches exclusively for tents in a quiet area near our glamping pods. We also have 5 all-weather touring pitches close to our 5-star amenity block and Reception for convenience that are also suitable for tents. We do not allow tents to pitch on the grass. Please bring tent pegs suitable for hard-standing. We can provide additional ground sheets if required.  We can only allow one tent per pitch. Fire pits for hire available from Reception, please do not bring your own. 

Tent pitches in the glamping area are for tents no bigger than 6m * 6m including guy ropes; for tents larger than this please book a standard all-weather pitch.

Relaxing at Longnor Wood in our beautiful surroundings on our 5-star campsite Peak District may also suit. Our Longnor campsite is beautifully landscaped with lovely views and our low noise policy means you can be guaranteed peace and quiet to relax. Facilities on-site are kept deliberately low-key to maintain our peaceful environment. Open all year, Longnor Wood Holiday Park is the place for you. We are an ideal campsite for an Autumn or Winter camping break. Please note we close between 3rd January and 2nd February.  We are perfect for Christmas camping, being one of the few Peak District campsites open at Christmas and over New Year.
