At Longnor Wood, we offer a range of caravan holidays. You can choose to stay in our static caravans with hot tubs, located in a private and peaceful area of our luxury holiday park, or stay on our hard standing touring pitches in your own caravan.

Longnor Wood is an adult only UK holiday park, perfect for caravan holidays Derbyshire and for camping in Buxton. We are a quality-assured, 5-star touring caravan site in the Peak District (AA accredited). It is located in a rural location in the heart of the Peak District and is one of only a few campsites near Chatsworth House. Longnor Wood is one of only a few touring caravan sites in Derbyshire for adults only.

Our Manifold caravans are perfect for 2 adults and these static caravans to rent in Peak District have a spacious open plan living, dining and kitchen area, modern kitchen with microwave, fridge/freezer, electric cooker and Nespresso pod coffee machine. Laundry on site in our 5-star amenity block. King size bedroom and en-suite shower. Bed made up for your arrival in crisp linen. Towels provided. Separate dressing room and storage area.   We also have dog friendly static caravan hire Peak District, with a maximum of 2 well-behaved dogs being welcomed in our dog friendly caravans for £40 per week per dog (£25 short breaks).

Located mid-way between Buxton and Bakewell and accessible from the major cities of Birmingham, Manchester, Nottingham and Sheffield in less than 90 minutes, Longnor Wood is the perfect spot for Peak District camping and is open all year (campsite closes between 10th January and 1st March).   Surrounded by rural countryside, Longnor Wood is one of the best Peak District campsites whether you are visiting the stately homes of Haddon Hall or Chatsworth estate, exploring the Buxton caverns, walking or cycling one of the many trails such as the Tissington Trail or the Monsal Trail, enjoying a pint of real ale in a Peak District pub or exploring the many other attractions in the heart of England. With our dark skies and lack of light pollution, Longnor Wood is perfect for Peak District stargazing.
