Longnor Wood Holiday Hideaway sits in a remote rural location in the heart of the Peak District. Our picturesque site is perfect for couples wanting to enjoy relaxing time together and explore the wonderful Peak District attractions such as Haddon Hall, Tissington Trail, Poole’s Cavern and so much more. There are spectacular views of the hills and countryside from our 4-acre dog walk and exercise field on this campsites Peak District and the local area is perfect for those that adore the great outdoors. Longnor Wood is a campsite exclusively for adults, and we do not allow guests or visitors under 18 years of age.
We are a tranquil park and operate a Low Noise Policy across our Peak District campsite. Longnor Wood is not suitable for large parties, hen or stag groups. We do not accept group bookings comprised of 4 adults or more. The majority of our guest accommodation (with the exception of our Bakewell 2-bedroom lodges) have been designed with one bedroom only to provide spacious luxury accommodation with hot tub for 2 adults only.
The low noise policy on our campsites Peak District means no music or loud noise that can be heard outside of your accommodation. Therefore, we are not the best site for anyone who wants to stay up late with other couples and if this is you then we respectfully request that you stay at a different Peak District campsite.
Our Peak District campsite wardens undertake a nightly walk-round before 11pm to ensure that guests are not being disturbed by the inconsiderate nature of others. We ask for conversation-level noise only after 10pm so that those who want an early night are able to sleep and have a strict no-noise policy after 11pm. Guests with hot tub lodges are required to vacate their hot tub by 11pm. We require all guests to be considerate and respectful of the site wardens on their nightly walk-round. You will be asked to leave the site immediately if you are not.
We welcome two adult couples holidaying together in our Bakewell 2-bedroom lodges but respectfully request that you are considerate of guests in the surrounding lodges.
