For touring and camping in Derbyshire, look no further than our
5-star Peak District campsite, less than 10 miles from the spa
town of Buxton and Bakewell, famous for its pudding. Ideal for
Peak District camping, Longnor Wood is a 5-star campsite near
Buxton open all year round (closed 3rd January to 2nd February).
Perfect for Christmas camping. Please note that Longnor Wood is a
campsite exclusively for adults and all guests must be over the
age of 18.
We have fully serviced hard-standing touring pitches with 10amp
electric, water and grey waste as well as standard all-weather
touring pitches. We also have a small number of all-weather tent
pitches (maximum tent size including guy ropes 6m x
6m.
You can add extras, such as fire pits and BBQs during the online
booking process. Otherwise please call
01298 83648 to add extras
to an existing booking.
All touring and tent pitch prices are quoted per night and include
1 vehicle and maximum 2 adults. Minimum stay 3 nights over Bank
Holiday weekends. Please note we do not allow gazebos, generators
or pup tents on our Longnor Wood touring and tent pitches. All
caravans, awnings, motorhomes, camper vans and tents must be
pitched as requested by our site wardens for fire safety
purposes.
If you are unsure which size tent or touring pitch will be
suitable for your unit please contact us on 01298 83648. Please
note that we cannot accept large units longer than 15m and the
standard length of our pitches is no more than 11m. Maximum tent
size 6m x 6m including guy ropes. We allow a maximum of 2
well behaved dogs per pitch. No charge for dogs.
